I'm not sure , but I may have an answer in a few months...my greyhound bitch dug into my american bulldog male.. I never saw a tie but she is looking a bit pregnant.

He is a performance bred dog ( scott type or hines type ) I have used him with the terriers and he is very good. I have caught pigs with him....I have done protection training with him... I have competed with him in protection tournaments....I entered him in an iron dog tournament ( weight pull......hardest hitting on a decoy....racing) and he took 2nd place. ...he has his AKC canine good citizen award and his passed his guard dog temperament test.....He is just a helluva good dog. The bitch is a field trial greyhound that is just a year old. I started working with her nd she will chase a drag till she falls over. I have never had her on any game. As I said IF she is bred it was an accidental mating BUT I will definitely be keeping a pup myself and have folks asking for them already lol.

Wow fair play to ya goes to show what this breed can achieve in the right hands , my bitch is down from white knights has good drive n never tires of chasing what she cant catch pmsl

I know a guy who bred a litter about 3 yrs ago, theyve made big dogs quite capable of the purpose they were bred for (retrieving wounded deer), and if im correct he has a litter on now.

pritty much all performance stuff to him but what drive the dog has,yet definatly a kinder disposision to kids than a lot of pits that ive seen and wouldnt trust.good guard and protect dog but he is very agressive in work very hard to get off a better trainer would have probebly got him to come off better than me.he looks heavey but is very fast suprisingly would like to see what would be produced to a grey,

I'm gonna talk to the missus tonight. If gyp's knocked up, i'd like to get a pup or two to put on hogs and anything else we can catch here. i think they'd shine for spotlighting (lamping) hogs in crops. my salXgrey is fast enough but he doesn't anchor them well. they toss him around pretty easy it'd be nice to give him some help

good post on here guys , that WHITE KNIGHTS HOG HAMMER is a very famous dog . i have a bitch that has his blood line on her fathers side . here is a pic of her at about 16 weeks old wieghing about 3 stone

MAYBE... If pit crosses do well then I would think a performance bred American bulldog would do well also. I don't think a 1st generation cross would be the ticket but a 3/4 or 5/8 grey I think would absolutely be the ticket. Most folks who believe the American bulldogs would be too think generally have seen mostly bully types. They tend to look more like huge English bulldogs and from what I have seen cannot get out of their own way. A few years back I bred my lurcher ( 1/2 whippet...1/4 russell....1/4 border collie) to a full American bulldog bitch ( a littermate to the dog in the pics) The pups were sent here and there and I kept 2 of them. I stupidly put both of mine down in the same day WAY WAY too young........Another lives up the road from me and is a farm dog whose only fault ACCORDING TO HIS OWNERS..... is he constantly brings dead coon out of the barn to the back porch!

I sent 2 to a woman in Virginia and COOPER on here bred one of them to his Lurcher to get his AUSTIN dog that he lost recently. So as I said a good performance bred dog bred to a good grey I think would make a helluva dog. I'd like to have one to do bite work with.

Use a great american bull dog to a very racy greyhound, and as said maybe not in the first generations will be racy enough but it will get there in time and make a very fast well built dof i would have thought?
