The problem with that poll, is that it doesn't take the seasons into account, ie the hours of daylight. :hmm:

My favourite times are, the first hour of daylight, & the last hour. The best time to shoot can't be set in stone or tied to the hours of the clock, there's too many variables. eg, Hours of daylight, weather conditions, granting of the permission slip, (from the wife! :laugh:) etc. :thumbs:

couldnt agree more! my fave time to hunt is dictated by what im hunting! though at the mo i shoot more crows than anything so its an early start for me! :thumbs:

In the winter, its early got to be early morning when everything is dead quiet apart from the odd thump when you smack that rabbit/pheasant. At the lighter time of year it has to be Evening sun just starts to go down and all is quiet and relaxed. If you ask me the best way to chill out is going out shooting either of those times.
