Problems with Police.

As the season is very much upon us now, well as soon as the remaining fields are cut,

most of us will be back at it, most days and nights,

and i'm pretty sure the odd poacher watch groups and police will be getting ready and on the look out wasting goverment money...

When or if you've been pulled with lurchers in the past, while the ban has been in place, if you happen to be in an area, you have no reason to be... What have you said?

Have any of you been in bother, since the ban was enforced upon us for accidentally breaking the law ?

yes mate i was walking me mates labs seen he was on holiday, i was walking across a field that is over grown, loads of people walk through it to get to work and that, and i saw a car pull up i thought that looks abit funny but thought nothing else of it then a cop car came by looking at me, so i thought right somehting is up here so i decided to go back home and as i did a riot van and another police car pulled up with the blues and twos playing. so they came over to see what i was doing so basically i said i was walking me mates dogs, they started saying that i was hunting for foxes, i just laugh and said i was going home and walked away. lol i thought it was fcukin stupid all the sh*t they were making up.

once nipped out lamping with my uncle it was bout half 12 at night and not many people about, but this car followed us all the way out the town and into the middle of nowhere, my uncle clocked it and said its either a taxi, the farmer or the police, and said the farmer and the taxi would know the road and be fleeing along. so, he decided to find out if it was following us and drove round in a big circle, it was still there, so round he went again, still there!! he got about a third of the way round the third circle and the blue lights behind the grill came on, so he pulled over and they asked him what we were doing, he said that he was telling them nowt and said to give him a 7 day ticket they took our names and let us go, went on to have a decent night lol

just a bit.helicopters and armed police, forest wardens. caught us bang at it but we never had any game on us so nothing coud be proven,was haveing a nice frosty sunny morning walk before they turned up with there noisey helicopter and shouting freeze,how the f**k do you freeze when trying to hang on to 2 lurchers and half dozon terriers?got to just laughing at them and the amount of money they had just waisted catching 2 nair do wells takeing the dogs for a walk.

Just like ooty but I had helicopters, tanks, submarines, spaceships, nuclear weapons and men in black shouting " freeze" at me one night just for walking past Wilf's house with my poodle

Got stopped in a subaru one night with four others and a load of dogs,just explained we was exersising the dogs to train them for racing and the lazerlite was in case any got lost.

Usual crap,producer and a yellow card and on our way, funny how they never wondered why we was 60 miles from home though.

watch yourselves out there some places are red hot at the moment

i used to have them banging at me door when i first moved here just for walking hounds ,in camy gear,saying i was prospecting .so went out got all the local permission i could.one stopped to chat to me few week since and didnt check .had a close shave lastnight luckily he drove very steady by but when the jeeps got quarry in .it certainly got my heart a pounding .i just hope they leave me alone now they no ive got the rights to the land

Excuse my ignorance but what is a 7 day ticket , though i assume its like answering bail, and how did that come out

Been caught a few times most gamekeepers move us on some run at us and some just block our motor in and phone the cops good laugh part and parcel of been a poacher looking forward too making the gamekeepers do some running

i tell them i'm off to meet some lads to watch a dog run on some permission "they" have, then if i like the dog i will be swapping it for one of mine in the back, which ever they want.....lol

they've got to prove your breaking the law intensionally, and you can drive around any public roads all night with the dogs in if you want, providing your all above board...
