Ok sorry i just want to clear this up. The title

 

Risking a kill means completely diffferent from what most of use might be thinking. I understand why you are all thinking that but dont worry. What i ment was. Risking a kill as in shooting a bird in the trees or behind a dodgy bush. Nothing illegal. Also it meens when you shoot the bird you might miss and scare all the rest of hens.. 'Risking it'

gota be a head shot for me mate .some birds ie woodys store corn in a little sack in their chest and neck area if this is full chances are its not going to be a clean kill .happy hunting.

head shot only! clean kill or clean miss! there can be exceptions but not many!

You know it makes sense.. .....head shots every time!! when in doubt leave it until a shot presents itself so that you know you can dispatch the quarry with a well placed head shot.
