For those that are interested

Makes me wonder if I've underestimated mine. She's just 2 now, and been with me a year. Sometimes I think she lives on a planet all by herself and is only interested in hunting my cat. But a few times now I've thought, maybe she'd be ok for lamping or something. She's daft as a bag of hammers, but I might give her a go just for fun and see what she does.

at home around the kids he plods around like a beddraggled seaside donkey......nothing excites him at all..hes like a grumpy ol bugger.

get him out....and its like Dr Jackyn Mr. Hide.........Never seen such a contrast in perosnality from one dog

Well done paul, grey's make great pet's, but if they ever kick off with another dog, they can be

Lethal :wallbash: . I helped a bloke once who had racing Kennels, and when a greyhound starts fighting , the power+damage would shock most people what a greyhound can do.

As you say they are a Jeckeyl+Hide Dog, but 90% of the time they are a very loving+honest dog.

well put Bird, they can be a nasty fighter.! i seen what they can do, not nice!!

but, most of the time, they are fine, muzzles's are a godsend and a good safety thing, thats why you see most greyhounds in kennels muzzeled, for safety reasons, just in case their is a fight.

here are my 2, how do the rest of you find the stamina on a greyhound i always had the idea that it was totally shite and that they would be knackered after a couple runs but my 2 seem to last all night and still be up for more.

Anything thats been run once a week for 400 yards then slapped on the rotoary all week wont have that much stamina, but Im with continued worthis can be improved upon.

When I got mne it ran 200 yeards and callapsed in a heap...though it had croaked it was that unfit......already ina couple of weeks of free running and several lamping sessions his fitnnes and stamina have come on leaps and bounds.

I supose really you only get out what you put in......
