shell 42
All my lot, terriers and lurchers) love eating berries. Recently been picking a lot of bilberries to make Bilberry vodka and the dogs were picking their own and eating them. One of our old terriers loved gooseberries, and once sat in the back garden under a goosegog bush and ate as many as she could reach. She was so fat after that, all she could do was lay there whining. She didn't learn though and was back out the next day looking for more. Atol, the old lurcher, loves raspberries, but eats them so gently that she leaves the inner cone attached to the plant. Funny though, as they won't eat the strawberries. Not much chance though cos as soon as they are ready our 3 yr old nicks them! Shell Edited September 3, 2008 by shell Quote Link to post
