yesbutnobut 0
Crows as they are only ones thick enough to hang around for too long
SportingShooter 0
Crows as they are only ones thick enough to hang around for too long Crows are far from Thick, They say they are one of The most intelligent of the lot. If a Pigeon decides it wants to feed on a particular field, then it will come in no matter what. A Crow errs on the side of caution As for the easiest to shoot.. Pest Species I would say the lumbering Jay flitting between the branches. Game Species, Mallard coming into a flightpond I find easiest, the Pheasant, Partridge and others are all different, but some Pheasants are very easy. Regards SS crows are smart to a point... i've seen them use military like tactics when checking out a field lol but.... damn they are easy to bait. my grandad and i used to take a wadded up black t-shirt and throw it in the middle of the field and use a crow call to lure them in... those birds would attack the shirt in droves lol easy pickins... They just can't resist the temptation of a free meal i.e. fallen lambs and keep coming back for more lead injection , now that is a strange sort of intelligence

The Carrion and the Magpie are top of the list for intelligence in the UK. The Grey Crow is the smart one in Ireland. I shoot thousands every year, not this year admittedly, and I do watch their behaviour, they can be quite fascinating.
