Now, Im not that good with stuff like this so I have a few questions; Is it easy to change internet providers? Will I need to get a proper person to change my network etc? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

If you have BT line cant see problem, just ring AOL up cancel it from them, phone sky up tell them what you want and they'l sort you out

fraggle 4
phone up aol tell them you want to leave and get the code, cant remeber what it is called but they will give it to you, phone up sky and tell them you want it and they will then ask you for the code, ten days later ish you will be on sky. Also they will proberly send u a new router/modem, but just follow the instructions and you will be fine.
speedlamper 0
you'll need your mac address from aol, i doubt you'll get sky for free though, there's always a "set up" fee, either that or you'll need to sign a 10000year contract
nelson 0
If your thinking of leaving AOL ring them and ask them why you should stay ? The nice Indian lady will no doubt offer you the earth and more, take the best deal you can. I was with AOL and it was very good despite what people say, I only left them through connection problems out of their control. Ask for a better, cheaper deal and see what they come up with. ferretess 230
I've just swapped from AOL to sky ,, went through no problems didnt even go a day without the internet,,, call AOL and get MAC code( takes them up to 5 days to send it to you by email ) then call sky to see if you can get the free one ( or go onto sky.com and put in your phone number to check you can get it before you spend the money on a phone call ) BUT base which is the one you get free as part of your package only gives you up to 2mb and if it is base you want cost you £75 activation fee
