poacher2225 2 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 some times thay dont heal ther is some boys around hear ther dogs has done them over 2 year ago and thay have not grown back but one of my bitchs done one of her stopers and i use some proxide from up the chemist and mix it with water that is good for cuts and that and wroks well Quote Link to post
Irish Lurcher 1,013 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 This is common enough with lurchers, it looks worse then it is. We had a lurcher who ripped her stopper and it has yet to heal properly, and that was a year ago. You can help the dog by giving plenty of rest while it heals and after lengthy lay off you can ease him back into it, but I would advice you to strap the stopper every time you go out. Best of luck. JUST KEEP BATHEING THEM KEEP EM CLEAN HOPRFULLY FREE FROM INFECTION AND STRAP THEM UP WHEN OUT WORKING. I USE VET WRAP TO DO HIS DEWS AS THEY STICK OUT AND DO THE STOPPERS AT THE SAME TIME CHEERS A T B CHIPPY Quote Link to post
