If you have the time money and room to keep a dog for every ocasion good luck to you, but personaly I havnt.Its as much about me working around my dogs abilitys as them working round mine.

 

Do you know, apart from what I write, thats the most sensible post I've read on here in a long time. :thumbs:

fair piont you just have to make the best of what youve got , just keep it up

Ive seen good terriers in all the breeds but the ones ive been most impressed by is a good old fashioned jack rusell,not the type seen inthe show ring.Small,bow,legged,musular with a good head and a bigger heart like the old irish type.Hard to beat a good russellIMO

can that type still be got?

Whister I was in a guys yard 2 days ago and he had a russel that stood about 11" and was well worked, fits the description of the type of russels yous are chatting about. Small bow legged and built like a mini shithouse. They are still about.

thats my ideal terrier. when im looking for new worker thats the type im going for so. i thought they were like hens teeth.
