can any body tell me how to make my mk1 meteor more power? its firing at about 8ft/lbs at the moment

Meteor MK1 I had one back in the mid 's.Only advive i can offer Chid is DON'T put a square section spring in I did in mine...result obliterated stock replaced stock then trigger was either rock solid or hair trigger,massive recoil & unpredictable to cock.Not wanting to come across as a :wankerzo4: could you not grab yourself a more modern springer??

You'll struggle getting a Meteor above 10ft/lbs. Might want to look at an upgrade.

only reason i was trying to get this up is it fits nice in my arms not to big , struggle with some guns with having short arms.

ive got another air rifle here but just dont feel nice to carry...

next question lol do you know of an air rifle similar size and weight to a meteor, one wots not gonna break the bank

They were only designed to run at 8 ft lbs.

 

John Bowkett tuned 000's of them in the 's to run close to 12 ft lbs, for the princely sum of £23.50.

 

He definitely does NOT tune them any more as I asked him a few weeks ago.

s200 if your willing to go precharged is very small and yet still full power. and lightning xl seem quite small. adam
