out of curiousity, anyone here remember a chap called P TAYLOR from Sandyacres in NOTTINGHAM back in 1980.I bought a dog from him,the best lurcher I ever had period,it was a collie/g.h Xsaluki/g.h.I got a red merle pup.Fathom(b.plummers)was involved in the dams breeding. Also a chap i stayed with but ive lost touch with them shortly after(no mobiles)G.JAMES.a dedicated lurcher man and his mate J DAVIS,another fanatic.Just wondered if they were still going.I believe J Davis's partners name was JOAN.I reckon they would have been well known in the dog circles.I was only 17 then and a glutton for anything to do with terriers/lurchers.I visited D HANCOCKS yard then and didnt fancy anything there.I can also remember a bloke from THAMES VALLEY LURCHER SOCIETY that lived in SPEEN,NEWBURY ,BERKS.I stayed over night there too but his name eludes me,I think it may have been TONY but not sure. This is just a trip down memory lane,I hardly expect anyone might recognise the people from there but stranger things have happened, lol.I bought the lurcher from a show there in NOTTINGHAM,Jack Charlton was there as was PHIL LYODD and a magnificent merle lurcher.I was in heaven, lol.I think BRIAN PLUMMER was signing his new book if i can recall.Anyone know what im on about?

Your neighbourhood is still there mate, just around cerebral-close,near grey-matter corner, some people have elastic memories, you will be surprised later in the day when people blow the sleep-dust from their eyes and log-on :victory:
