Guest Magwitch
Today Me Steve and Jack had a run out with the Pug's and Willow for a spot of ferreting with the long net's. The day started well and the bag soon mounted up as the rabbits were bolting readily and by dinner time we had twenty rabbits accounted for. But when we moved on to a bigger bury it was a different story, we bolted two stoats here almost straight away and only two rabbits and a short dig to a maggot ridden corpse. The last two buries produced nothing so we called it a day and headed for home. The weather was beautiful but too warm for my liking so roll on those cold frosty morning's This first picture is of a stoat trying to jump the long net but getting in a tangle Killer on the loose One in the net Final bag 22 rabbits and one knackered terrier Quote Link to post

stubby 175
the stoat made it through the net, followed by another that bolt from a hole next to where pat was kneeling, over his shoulder and away, with "willow" close on it, was a good day pat, apart from my headache which made me a bit zombiefied by the end of the day  but lovely weather and good company made it a good day, Quote Link to post

stubby 175
I would have been quite happy to have been "stretched off", my "migraine" made me feel like my head was going to explode, and on the trip back, made me "deaf" because I couldent hear what you were waffling on about, can remember you asking how many we had caught, and I replied "4 o'clock" roll on the winterey weather, make it easier to push those poles in Quote Link to post
