I am just about to send off for my shotgun licence :gunsmilie: and was just wondering what type of gun i should get. I have regularly used my Dad's 12 bore but was wondering whether i should get a 12 bore or a .410

I would like to get an over and under as i have frown up using this.

Any Suggestions would be welcome. Cheers :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:

What can anyone say to answer this ...what do you want to use it for...why are you considering a 410 if you are used to a 12g...it the 12g not suitable for what you want???

Nobody can answer this question but you!!

Well i would only be using it for shooting pigeons, moles, rabbits and doing clay shooting and i could do all of these things with a .410 and therefore dont see the need in getting a powerful gun. As long is it does these jobs i would be happy.

Cheers for the advice

There you go then...answered your own question....you will also find a MUCH bigger choice of 12g guns than 410, and also a MUCH bigger choce of ammo, and as it happens lots of it cheaper than 410 ammo as well....enjoy!!!
