slyfox-mal 1
hi guys is it worth fitting a silencer to my tx200 hc or would the cost not be worth the result ? and if so which would you recommend useing ? thanks mal Quote Link to post
Edgar 1
I could be wrong but I thought the TX 200 HC came with a built on silencer and was fairly quiet. Remember that springers sound noisy because you are close to the noise if you see what I mean. You can't hear my Weihrauch 50 yards away and its not got a silencer. So I wouldn't worry too much about that. I don't think you will find a silencer to fit anyway. Quote Link to post
T78 4
i think the tx hc has a bull barrel but is screw cut for an extra silencer if required. if it needs it,then it would be worth it. as mentioned you wont notice the difference because your ear is close to the (noisy) action. downrange it should be quiter. slyfox-mal 1
hi guys it has a asimple silencer fitted as standard its called a Plenum insert i know blackpool air rifles sell silencers for this rifle as they are listing them there is an internal thread on the hc that the plenum insert screws into im really just wondering if anyone has used a different silencer to compare things to tell the truth my son was plinkining with this rifle and i was not far from the targets and all i really heard was the fizz of the pellet and not a lot from the rifle so maybe ive just answered my own questions lol cheers mal Quote Link to post
hiho 5
my dads mate who comes with us lamping has one of those he had a silencer then he got rid of it because it dosent make much of a differance and it makes it to long for what he intended to use it for Quote Link to post
the infamous nun 0
the pellet leaving the barrel isnt that nosiy its the internals when fired :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post
jazz_11 5
my bsa is fairly quiet, not dead silent but it came standard with it. Quote Link to post
Portland_Jon 0
my bsa is fairly quiet, not dead silent but it came standard with it. Obviously I am gonna be a little biased as I make silencers but I have always used silencers on springers and swear that they make a difference. Here is a picture of my TX200HC silencer if you are interested. Cheers Jon Quote Link to post
