Kay 3,709 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 I spotted a bald patch on the dogs neck just , but when i touched it i felt a small lump, its under wear the collar lies on the dogs neck, its not bothering her & she isnt scratching at it Theres also a few grey flakes on the coat where the lump is i was wondering ringworm but is that lumps ? It's impossible to say from a photo but looks more like a punture wound thats a little infective, boil type spot etc. Has it been there long? is it painful?any history? Ask yourself what you would do if you found it on yourself then do what you'd do for the dog ie monitor, see doc etc. It's a good way of deciding on the next step when making decisions about dogs. Its under the collar & wasnt there last sunday as i had her collar off to put a disc on it , i cant think of anything other than the collar that could have caused it unless its an insect bite, its not bothering her & looks less red this morning Quote Link to post Share on other sites
