I spotted a bald patch on the dogs neck just , but when i touched it i felt a small lump, its under wear the collar lies on the dogs neck, its not bothering her & she isnt scratching at it

Theres also a few grey flakes on the coat where the lump is i was wondering ringworm but is that lumps ?

Ringworm isn't not usually lumps. It's impossible to say from a photo but looks more like a punture wound thats a little infective, boil type spot etc. Has it been there long? is it painful?any history?

Ask yourself what you would do if you found it on yourself then do what you'd do for the dog ie monitor, see doc etc. It's a good way of deciding on the next step when making decisions about dogs.

Its under the collar & wasnt there last sunday as i had her collar off to put a disc on it , i cant think of anything other than the collar that could have caused it unless its an insect bite, its not bothering her & looks less red this morning

my lurcher had a lump on her back a while back. i was concerned, took her to the vet and it was just a cyst. it went down after a couple of weeks with no problems. the vet said its good to check lumps out, just in case, but i think he just likes to maker money. lol
