Lucy 0
hi all anyone tell me if its ok too feed raw ckicken, bones and meat, too my lurcher, as picked up some scraps from my local butcher,of all sorts and have chicken in there cheers rich, I know terriers aren't lurchers, but my terriers eat raw chicken and I work on the theory that if they caught a chicken (or any meat they have the ability to catch and kill) they wouldn't take it home, cook it and take it off the bone, they'd just eat it there and then. Don't suppose lurchers are alot different. I've got a human theory on that too... You know all those meats that docs tell us are bad for us (beef and so on), well all those meats are from animals that we as humans would be very unlikely to catch and kill with our bare hands, yet chicken and fish, we can catch and kill with our bare hands easily and they're not bad for us! I like to apply the same theory to animals... whatever meats they have the ability to catch and kill on their own can't do them any harm, and incidental to that, one of my dogs catches (and eats) fish (when he gets the chance) and he has the shiniest coat in the world. Got to be something in that!
