J Darcy 5,871
I have been very fortunate to have seen quite a few packs hunt. The hound closest to my heart is the beagle, lovely hound and such a good nose.... Following beagles has another advantage, you see another of my favourite animals:the hare, at close quarters...... Im thankful i have watched hunting when it was legal and managed to take a lot of photos in the process.......JD Quote Link to post

old dog 210
hi old dog smart pics the hounds you had of alun how do they go and is it the same terrain as the nantcol as i find it bloody hard going no mate i've got easier country than alan,he would have a faster country beening on the mountain less obstacles, but thinking about it now, the hounds with me has'nt got it easy fences big brambles and gorse banks, they can't really build up speed without hitting another cover. sniper 30
i think foxehounds are the best hunting dog. but if youre poaching they can be f*****g pests for howling but cracking noses and the best type to bring a lurcher pup on with. for finding gear! Quote Link to post
rabbit slayer 22
Cracking photo's old dog, it was a good day out. I want to be in them photos next week, haha Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
ii havent been out with foxhounds for a good few years maybe since the country alliance sold us real hunting lads n, lasses down the river after pulling together and suppoting their cause for so many years, it leaves a bitter taste, i had the pleasure of being in huntservice for 14years and they turned their back on us same as the scabby govenment, i lost family who fought for this country to gain our freedom, the upper class dickheads are no better than the antis as far as im concerned, to exprience the cry of hounds first thing in the morning is phennomenl, i will keep my memories till im dead, no one can take that freedom, for those of you that do enjoy hunting with hounds i say fair play.
