Aaron 3
Im looking for a pair of decent leggings for digging. Dont like the wax type as i find them too heavy and i did have some from bushwear but they didint last five mins and wernt waterproof although were comfy. Must be durable and waterproof for those long wet days on the quad. Also not willing to pay £100 quid for summin like the berghaus ones however nice they are. Cheers for any help. maty j 6
I got some wax ones off ebay - bag of shite if your walking through wet, long grass so I'm looking for some others or other trousers. I've got some regatta plastic trousers but you sweat like hell and they arent that strong. Quote Link to post

masmiffy 82
Have always worn wax leggings or over trousers. Cant fault them! Admit they are warm in some conditions but have never been wet in them! Pretty good in brambles as well! Tend to chop mine short so mud doesnt ride up between boots and trousers!!! Have had a Barbour Solway jacket for over 25 years and it still 'works' you just need to keep em well waxed. Barbour used to do a superb repair and reproof at reasonable cost (compared to a new jacket) Quote Link to post
