its for a male harris

 

and it measures 7 by 10

Looking good mate but id personly replace the mesh with bars so when the bird is free lofted it wond do asmuch damage to its tail. But thats just my opinion other than that it looks great well do and keep us posted

Definitley 100% with this post if you are going to free loft it in there! if its going to be bowed in there no probs aslong it has plenty of room to Bate round without doing any damage....

 

Bars is the one though mate if you wanted to put loose during the Moult ...

Im Planning on putting netting in front of the mesh so the bird cannot get to it

 

the mesh is 1x1 inch

 

getting very excited now bird all booked pick it up in 11 weeks

Jason...i would'nt put netting up in front of the mesh....especially if the birds gonna be freelofted at any time......your just askin for trouble there......

Well went up to the breeder im getting my MHH from to put my deposite down on it. Was going to send a cheque but decided to take the rods with us and get some fishing done aswell .

 

He had mesh and then bamboo so today went to b&q and got some bamboo and going to put it infront of the mesh.

Yes mate he has said that if i put the bamboo on the nside it should be fine and the breeder also has it and his birds are fine

Just to finish the inside and hang the door and a lick of paint and thats us finished

 

it goes right back to the fence at the back of the dog run you can see

Very nice mate. When you put your bars on the inside make sure they are far enough away so that your bird cant reach the mesh. Looking forward to the finished project mate keep us posted.

Im going to hing a sheet of ply board on to it so i can stop it seeing me through the mesh through the training period
