Deker 3,478
Ok ..eventually bit the bullet and bought one...not for the .22LR, that always did seem a goodun, but for the new Silhouette in HMR....this trigger is nowhere near as good as the .22LR Silhouette I have. Anyway..ordered it from the States direct on Saturday night...yep 5 days ago....arrived first thing this morning...$15 total including delivery (£8.32)!!! Now then...I'm going to be trying several of the tubes and springs but I am curious to know what you have settled on tube wise and spring wise???? Cheers Deker Quote Link to post
Finkley 1
Hi Deker, I went for the second lightest spring and the thickest tube, red I think, can't remember, but it was defo the thickest. It stills has a little creep, but it's far better than stock. The spring seems safe too. Went through the whole smacking the gun with a rubber mallet shenanigans and it held true. Over 2000 rounds later and not one nasty incident. I was thinking about wrapping a little tin foil around the tube to eradicate all creep. It's more than good enough for 1/2" groups at 50yds though, and as I only use it for rabbits not paper, I have left it in it's apparently safe state. Does anyone else still have creep with the thickest tube in place? Most people seem to be creep free after fitting the kit. Makes me wonder. Cheers Steve Quote Link to post
richie 1
starting with the hardest spring, i settled with the 3rd spring & green tube.... Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Richie...Good guide, which I think I said before.... I already have the CZ Silhouette in .22LR and the factory trigger is fine (although...for the small outlay I was thinking about trying this kit anyway), but just got the Brand New CZ Silhouette in HMR and the trigger is terrible in this one, so the the situation dictated I try the kit...... Fitted yesterday to the new HMR...put in the second heaviest spring 1.5-1.75lb and the 0.012 tube! Nearly s*** myself when I dry fired it...seemed like I was just breathing on the trigger...tightened up the spring a bit ....bounced the butt all over the ground but no problems!!!! Out last night and it felt great, got used to it immediately....got to admit it is worth the £8.32! Quote Link to post
