Waz 4,262 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 I clip 5 or so feathers of one wing on mine, a couple of 08 birds have started roosting in a young ash tree at about the 6 foot mark, so I cut the lower brush and now theyre upto 8 foot! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Alternatively check out orpingtons - they can't clear 3 feet!!! but are beautifull feathered birds - great layers.
