What do these stats mean?

mhy recently acquired dog has the following stats taken from greyhoung-data.com

 

races 31 - won 5 - 2nd 7 Bgrade A2 Bform 71

 

 

 

please can someone tell me what Bgrade and Bform are?

 

and please comment as the usefullness of this dog, form the stats given, when racing

b grade is the grade of race h ran as far as i know eg.a garade is the top grade

As has already been said Bgrade A2 means the best grade your dog ran in was A2. Dogs are graded from open racers then A1 all the way down to A10 or maybe even lower.

 

Bform 71 is the number of points the dog got for it's best line of form in your case 71. Some Picture got 143 points for winning the English Derby.

Sorry to hijack the thread but what do these stats for my old girl mean? http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?l=291492

 

She had a fairly good strike rate & was near enough top grade although the standard of runner is not that good in respect to other tracks. She was an out & out sprinter.

Crayford is a nasty little track, very small circumference & no banking on the bends.

im the same missie would love to learn about it been to the dogs a few times had a few LUCKY wins but we tokk my brothers girlfriends grandad who lives in sunderland he used to race gryhounds for years he wa putting small bets on a winning most of the time it must be the trained eye and know what hes looking for hey?
