mattyg 1,862
we are talking about a border COLLIE and not a border TERRIER here aint we? just being nosey thats all! all bitches differ mate, ive known em catch on 17 days and some on 9 or 10, its not an exact science! ive always brought bitches to my dogs on the 11th day and take it from there! and yes strong stuff, i thought the same thing mate! but each to their own i suppose! cheers, matt Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
we are talking about a border COLLIE and not a border TERRIER here aint we? I'd hope so! Kreet have you tried lending the Border terrier a milk crate to stand on? I don't mean you any harm Kreet, I don't know you, but bugger me you're always moving dogs around, it doesn't give the best of impressions from what we see on here, and that is of course the only impression we can get, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it is a duck .................... My advice for what it's worth ......... forget breeding a litter, if you've been stuck for a stud then it's not like you have the chance of a lifetime to breed a fantastic litter is it? Why not just buy a pup in that suits your needs, I can see exactly what will happen, you'll breed this litter, your "mates" will let you down, you'll be stuck with some pups and end up trying to sell them on here, and then you'll get all upset when you get called a c**t again, the money it will cost you in vet care, food etc to breed a litter you could buy a pup anywhere in the country, that same money will pay for your fuel, the pup and probably it's first years food! Simoman 110
Some good advice Aaron, kreet at some point I have no doubt these pups will be advertised on here because a "mate" needs to rehome it. Quote Link to post
kreet 0
the boys that are getting the pups are all grown men who have the space time and experience for them , the dog was already lined up to line her with but i wasnt sure i wanted a collie cross but after reading up a bit and thinking what i wanted the pup to be capable of then i couldnt get a decent dog of my other preferations anyway so i thought i would use the collie the people that are taking them were only intrested if they were genuine first cross and they all know both parents well. as i say if she doesnt stand ill just keep her and buy a pup i can assure you none of my pups will be advertised on here for any reason this will be her only litter and if her wrist stands the strain of a little light work she will get it if not she will just be a pet. Simoman 110
kreet, as Aaron mentioned, why not wait for a pup, I know its not my business but IMO far too many litters are bred and are filling up rescues as I type. Just in 2008 you have advertised the following dogs on here because your mates have let you down, surely you thought they would offer permanent homes? 7 lurchers 1 Springer 1 Staffy 1 Terrier 1 American Bulldog 1 Cane corso 1 Deerhound 1 Whippet 1 Labrador Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
i can assure you none of my pups will be advertised on here for any reason. I hope that's true, but based on past experience that's unlikely. I fully expect to read the sob story soon, it's a shame. Personally ............ I don't think you should be allowed to post on anything on here that involves buying/selling/breeding dogs. But then it's not my forum, so I'll just go and read some posts that don't make me ..... :realmad: Quote Link to post

I doubt he'll stop, but you can sure as f**k stop him using this site to peddle his dogs. That list has shocked me, I didn't realise it was half that bad! Kreet what are you doing??? Sort yourself out and leave the dogs alone. Quote Link to post

lamp+battery 98
just to say i lined my bitch coz i had 90% ov the litter sold. but as per they let me down dident want to put them on here. but i havent got the heart to bucket them and my wife wouldent let me anyway. so once the bitch is coverd get half the money off the lads who want pups so they will take them off you when they are ready to go just IMO good luck with every thing .....................lb Quote Link to post
