Some piccies of my Crem permission . . . . .

Recommended Posts

Juno what?

In all the time I since I became a member (don't regret the day niether  ) I have overlooked the fact that I haven't posted no pictures on anything to do with my permission so far . . . .Zero . . . Zilch . . . Nowt . . . . Nuffink!!

And so, without further delay - here they are folks:

1. A shot from the only gate into the field (situated within the woods) from the crem - this is a non public access gate - staff only. The fence to the left of the pic is for a Garden of Remembrance (GoR) - public access allowed to there, this was where i had a run in with a group of anti's once (I was in the field, they were in the GoR . . .and I won the day! :whistling:Image1.jpg

2. A view from the gate looking to the right, along the woods treeline.Image3.jpg

3. Another view from the edge of the woods, right up into the top end of the field - quite a good size.Image2.jpg

4. A view from the top end of the field, looking back towards the 'woods' gate and tree line of the woods. Along that one fence line alone i have discovered about four warrens so far - still looking! lolImage5.jpg

5. Another shot, looking along the fenceline of the GoR, towards the woods treeline. Notice, if you will, the water trough that is for the sheep when they are there - a favourite sitty for the thirsty woodies on a good day. ;)Image10.jpg

A bit of background for you, in conjunction with the piccies:

The woods cover a large expanse of area in themselves - this area is ripe for tree rats. The treeline is full of sitty trees - pidgoens mainly, a few crows have been had from there by me, as well as the odd maggie. When the crem is closed to the public, i have open ticket everywhere inside the whole boundary, and this includes the above field. The main car park in front of the chapel is good for the odd rabbit, good for crows and maggies perching on the building's roofwork. The other car park is very good for crows - they tend to sit on the high conifers to look out. The central area of trees near the main carpark is very good for the tree rats.

I hope you find these shots of interest, peeps. :)

all the best liam

I try my best bud, and i do seem to be making a noticable dent in the rabbit population! Lol

My son , also called Liam (and called Blue Dragon on here, BTW) often comes there with me (the crem Super Intendant has given him permission in his own name - lucky git he is! ) and he is enjoying it immensley.

He has been doing rather well at target practice, and has very good discipline in him when it comes to shooting, i am glad to say (looks like all my hard work and experience in the Services has been put to good use there!).

Thanks for your input Liam, much appreciated.

All the best,

Grim.
