Were these Ferreted or shot? What happened to that Rabbits ear?

ALL FERRETED, ON ONE OF THE BETTER DAYS. THAT I BELIEVE WAS THE MARK LEFT BY ONE OF THE FERRETS. WE ONLY DONE TWO BERRYS SO IT WASNT THAT BAD, THE FIRST BERRY WAS 130 HOLES! WE HAD TEN FRON THAT THE SECOND WAS 50 HOLES WE HAD 7 FROM THAT. USING 4 FERRETS AT ONCE :good:

I'm with u Skinnyrat 30 or so holes is the max. on our ground,the only set with more has a badger sett mixed in with it,I remember the terrier men from the village digging down 10 ft or more with us kids watching(in the days when pig digging was legal of course),so we tend to control these rabbits by other methods.

i know it was a big earth but it was worth it, it took up five rows in the orchard but it was out in the open so there was know clearing to be done, and there was four of us so it wasnt that hard :good::good:

Sounded like a good place to run a couple longnets out.

year but they sometimes come out and go down a nother hole, ive caught a few that this that have slipped the net, they backnet them selves in a nother one :haha: im not scared of a big earth because you get a godd bag at the end in most situations. :good:
