Hi mate,

I live not too great a distance from Maidstone myself, and so can appreciate the area and challenges regarding hunting for land to shoot over in this area.

Regarding the target shooting - try your garden if its long enough to do so, if not, then try an air rifle club local to you Lewis.:yes:

Regarding the quarry hunting - I'd advise you to just get out there and look around bud, if you see them when you are passing, then introduce yourslef to the land owners and see where you get, like?

If you want some forms to help you on your way - check my signature text. You can mix and match these to suit you, and then hand them out to the landowners you introduce yourself to. 2 birds with 1 stone here - self introduction, and lets the land owner see what you can offer them.

As to the scope - i have 2 scopes where the size of the objective lens is 40mm, and 1 where it is 50mm - thats about 2 of the most popular sizes for a start chap.

I hope this is helpful to you Lewis?

Regards,

Grim.

You most likely wouldn't believe it but i am lucky in that I shoot at a Crematorium local to me. I was lucky enough to have been given permission there because due to the nature of my job, i got to know the landowner/Crem owner very well on a personal level.

Grim.
