Ferreting this morning

Me and Tony had a couple of hours out this morning trying out a couple of this years jill's but also out with us was my new Lakie cross Willow which I brought second hand a few months back. I must say she took to the ferreting game like a duck to water, steady as a rock and holding the bunnies in the net until either me or Tony could get there. The jill's also got to work after a little farting around on top bolting nine rabbits in total. Here's a few picture's anyway.

i use to work an orchard very good ferreting because you can crunch on an apple whilst waiting but them coneys dont half do some damage to apple trees chewing them digging through roots until the whole apple trees just falls over bloody nuisence

Well that explains why I can't find any rabbit warrens around here- the rabbits are in the trees! Looked like a good day!

He is still not how i would want him Lee but i have been making good progress with him on the recall no where as well behaved as your girl though.

nice pics pat and a couple of hours well spent,we have just started picking our fruit with me driving one of the tractors which has given me the ideal opportunity to make note of all the new warrens round the farm ,by the look of it i am going to be busy,one of the older bigger warrens has now been utilized by a family of badgers.
