top class mate. was it caught on pellet and what condition was the river in.....

Hi mate

It was taken with a single glugged 18 mm boilie with a golf ball size pva bag of very small mixed pellets, conditions at the time were quite low and clear, I'd not had anything in the daylight hours but they soon switched on to the bait once it was dark.

Thaw out some of that bait I gave you JD..........worth a crack, allthough the results in the last week have been more that good enough.

Crumble some of the baits into those mesh bags with your pellet as well..........

Barbus.........nothing short of excellent.

Have many of you been fishing that paticular stretch and have you all been baiting with boiled baits.........or was the boiled baits something different from what everyone else has been using?

This one is at 9lb 13 oz a few weeks before the 10 lber taken from the same swim to the same bait .

Interesting that most of the biggger fish I've had have been right in the dead of the night or early hours.

oh and yes its another good double chin pic just for the cheshire lads :D:D

Cheers Doga, I'm out again sunday evening for a session on the Dove in a place where some of the fish I saw in summer dwarf the ones in the pics. They'll be packing more weight on from sept onwards ready for winter so I'm hoping for some real big whackers soon :icon_eek::icon_eek:
