richard25 0
Hi All Just wondering if anyone knew of any good spots for some wild camping ( anywhere Central or south ) I guess no one wants to share the spots & i totally understand as i have a few myself so i offer my favourite place for taking the dogs in return which is in hertfordshire ( otterspool lane ) & you have a choice of wild mushrooms & Krayfsh & even rabbits if your dog can catch them lol. i have been wild camping in the New forest, River Severn, a couple of spots around kent & the River Dean too but to be quite honest it was all alot of bother due to park wardens etc & it really pisses me off because i just want to get away from people for abit with the dogs etc & you dont stop getting bothered but i really cant do with a seven hour drive to Baeutiful Scotland ( i usually go down near Loch Lomond ) which is my favourite wild camping spot. So please do all atleast share one good spot. Thanks Richard
speedlamper 0
i'd go for the drive pal, make it 8hours and keep goin upto loch ness, some cracking camping spots on the north road, about a mile past drummondrochit (think thats how it spelt) there's a cycle trail thats goes quite high above the loch, follow the trail for about a mile and a half and there's a few nice spots, when you open your tent first thing in the morning and you see the fog over the loch you get this feeling you cant explain and you'l never forget

Funny you said about the Crayfish, i was done there tonight with the spot light trying to find the pesky little buggers but did not see a thing, & speaking about the Carp if you follow the road down to radlett & follow the river to the deep spots you see some pretty big carp, I like to go down there just to let the dogs have a little run after the rabbits & pick some mushrooms. Truly one of my favourite places to go its just no good for camping lol I think it maybe a long drive to scotland, its just such a long drive & after five hours you dont realise your speeding at about 110 & have four dogs in the car & two people lol P.S on a sidenote are the any rabbit hunters on here from or around the London area who fancy sharing some hot spots PM me
