Im after a cheap slingshot that would be capable of taking rabbits (with practice obv) any info you guys got please do share it.

Why not get an air rifle lad.... you can get them dirt cheap second hand.... doesnt have to be gas powerd.... you will have more of a chance hiting a rabbit with a pellet from a rifle then rabbit a sling shot.... IMO

Got air rifle mate, just want somethig that i can pop down woods with to feild at bottom and bag a rabbit, too risky with air rifle. I do snare the feild too.

For sake of a tenner i might aswell buy one. tried to make them befor but cant get elastic to fix properly. like the arm rest too

have a guess how much

you can always put better elastic(hope it's the right terminology?) on it

I know what you mean mate. Have a look for the balck widow by barnett. Alot say there shit but mine is accurate and powerfull. Even better It's foldable for slipping down your trousers or hanging under your coat. Mine was 6 quid but that was years ago and It's still going strong. I got a cobra since buying that but it's no were near as discreet.

Have a read of the catapult thread in the gamekeeping section, loads of useful info there. i use the barnett bands on a homemade frame simply because i cant hit a thing with a black widow but get alot more accuracy with mine
