Keeps 403
We thought we'd have a look over our permission this morning, just to show our faces and see what's what for the coming season. Everything was so overgrown must have been all the rain we've had lately There were pheasants everywhere, and so we were very restricted we could go. Even the bits the keeper told us we could go on we had to hang back so not to disturb them too much. We had a good few hours out, with not a lot to show for it, it will be at least another 3 weeks or so I think before we'll be back out for the true start of the season. Still it wasn't in vain, weve got to see whats about and where, and given the dogs a bit of a taster of whats to come. A few pics oh dear I think it said 7 foot still a bit rusty but the rabbit wasnt This ferrets first proper season, I think shes going to do well and old timer Sue, one of our best jills Last one of the day This rabbit looked like it was easily going to get away, straight across into the gorse, notice Indie moving to the right, he met it round the other side as it headed towards the bracken, got away - or so I thought - but they followed it right through the bracken and into the trees beyond, a really long course out of sight, the telltale squeal gave the game away shortly followed by indie's retrieve right back to me I forgotten what hard work it was walking up and down all the hills! JoseiesMom 0
Awesome shots! Indie looks like he is right in step with the rabbit in so many of the pix! That's a great shot of the three running across the field. Rabbit and Indie mid air, matched stride for stride and the other dog catching up! Indie's got intensity written all over him! Great job! Cheers, Kim Quote Link to post
