Gin 498
I am pulling the Countryside marquee out of the show till tomorrow. Its a much better weather forecast for tomorrow, and i think its too dangerous travelling today. Upto now the show is still on, but its very wet. We will be there tomorrow. Update if there is any other change. See you tomorrow. Anyone travelling to camp over as arranged, stay in the Countryside marquee. Banner is on marquee.
woodga 170
if this rain continuse you wont be able to get on or off the field bloody weather this might end up being the third show cancelled due to rain if the show is on wellies will be a must
Roxanskip 4
The best chance to have show tomorrow is if today is cancelled. Once heavy cattle and horses get on it will churn it up. Better forecast tomorrow. Here's hoping a lot of time, effort and money goes into organising these shows and so many have had to be cancelled through bad weather these past 2 years. Its left in the hands of the gods!!!!!!!!!! Keeps 403
just heard from a bloke that traveled over this morning that they were pulling cars ONTO the field with tractor cause it was that wet, was gonna go but not sure now Been to have a look up this afternoon to see what its like. It is very very muddy, but the parking bit wasnt too bad, certainly didnt see any cars getting pulled on or off that bit. On the show field its a different matter - there were even a couple of landrovers and rangerovers getting towed off at the end of the show field. It was still raining up there when we left at about 4 pm. With a bit of luck it will dry out a bit tomorrow - was supposed to be camping there tonight but the bit we were going to be on is under water Will post up if I hear any different but the Show Sec is determined its all going ahead tomorrow. Jim Grant 4
Oh bother! I would have to leave in the middle of the night if I took the old Landy, The car gets stuck if there is a heavy dew. I will just park up in Wolsingham and walk it in. Have to return a couple of trophies.

bigbird 7
it was mainly family type cars getting pulled on to the field when I went down at lunchtime. the lads are out tonight apparently putting down rakes and rakes of straw but I think it might be too late as it is still lashing down here (wolsingham). Jim Grant 4
Thanks Bigbird. I suppose I will have to wait until tomorrow morning first thing to see if the Committee have bitten the bullet and cancelled.
