Second attempt at making a knife

Recommended Posts

Same criteria as the last rustic attempt, had to be made out of what was to hand.

Ingredients........

old rusty circular saw blade

bit of 1 1/4 "X 1 1/4" oak batton

two scraps of falconry leather

coin

bit of one of the dogs old bones.

Still need to take the marks out of the steel and polish it up again.

looks good to me, at least you attempted it, Ive seen many write ups on using the saw blade, keep meaning to give it a go myself,

Thanks Stubby, i only tried the saw blade in the first place because of a post on here, i think it was "Fish" that put up a step by step guide that inspired me to have the first go.
