Surely it's up to you to say what your looking for in the stud dog. After all it's you that's breeding from the bitch and you will know what you expect the future pup to have to do when it's old enough. It would help if you gave us all a clue to what cross you'd prefer. Quote Link to post

So what your saying is that if you don't get a better offer you'll use the dog that's not exactly what your after?. Mate I've thought in the past people on here were maybe a bit hard on you, but that post says it all, your a fecking twat. Quote Link to post

dennned 172
kreet , why so short a range , if the stud dog you want is 300mls away , go use it , not something thats not what you dont want, i have a 7/8th grey x 1/8 collie , if you want , here in the borders. Quote Link to post
kreet 0
im after eather a decent 1st cross bull saluki or wheaton any of the three because all three will be capable of what i want and i have no preferance the bitch is of good class she has won a few races would have won more but snaped a wrist so will never run againe she wasnt a cheap bitch . the dog i can use is a half cross collie i have seen him take roe fox hare and rabbits he works day and night and is steady with ferret and bird he is just not the type i want to put over her as i fancy one of what i have said the dog is of good class its just iv never been a great collie fan so its not that the dogs not good enough its just he isnt my first choice in lurcher. the bitch would have been pts if i hadnt took her my grandad wouldnt keep a dog with a broken wrist she will never be worthy of a race againe so no use to him so i took her iv sorted her and ill be keeping 2 pups a mate is taking 2 and another is taking one they are for my own use as i am in need of something decent . got the chance of a blue merle beardie who does the sheep but they wouldnt be racy enough for me i want something that would have excelled before the ban and to fill the pot rather than control vermin .... kreet 0
i dont drive so have to rely on my other half and the family car as transport an she aint a fan of the dogs plus i have a 20 month and a 5 year old who i struggle to get childminder for at the best of time hence the nead for something close if possible . if i was offerd the right dog 300 miles away i would travel to it but to be fair there are decent enough animals up our way its just most my mates have bitches.
