Guest Taffybull
Sitting here half cut and looking at numerous threads on Lurchers which got me thinking...they have got to be one of the most versatile dogs ever bred. Regardless of what mix you have. These dogs hunt a variety of quarry big and small most are friendly and eager to please. Theyre big, small, smoothe, hairy, fast, slow(ish) hunt, jump, swim fetch and carry. Some folk see them as a commodity to be passed on others have them for life. Theyre loyal, friendly and will often go above and beyond the call of duty to please. They get us out in the country side often in inclement weather at all times of the day or night and never a complaint. So raise your glass, ...or whatever to one of the most versatile animals on the planet and no matter what x you prefer lets hear it for the Lurcher....may the kennel club never touch it...cheers! spot on Quote Link to post
