Guest bob bunny basher
hello fellow hunters , i have a bull / greyhound x deerhound / greyhound dog that is and allways has been a good allround worker . he has never failed to please me and is very loyal . i would like to breed from him so i could have one of his pups to work on after he has retired , he is 12 years old now . a good mate of mine has labradoodle x greyhound / deerhound , i know this sounds silly but his bitch is very good at catching rabbits and works with ferrets and long netts on a regular basis . his bitch has got really tight curly fur and what i was wondering is do you think that a show judge would give first place to such a lurcher with curly fur . I would say put him to the type of bitch that most suits your type of hunting, as long as the bitch is a good worker in your eyes. If that poodle cross is that type of worker, theres no reason that the cross wouldnt produce workers. But as you know, poodles havent been working dogs for fecking milenia! so theres the real chance of throwing duffers too. As for showing and judges opinions, I couldnt give a shit Quote Link to post
