what height is a good height for 6months

hi there my brother in law has got a bull greyhound collie greyhoundx bull greyhound the mother stands at 26 tts and father stands 28tts the pup is standing 20tts now at 6 months old how tall do you reckon its going to be do you think its a good height for its age

you dont say if its a dog or bitch....pups grow at different rates so 20" is ok and within the normal range ....could reach somwhere in between 28 - 24 depending on sex of dog

20 tts at 6 months, dog-bitch? The dog might boost up, but id sat 24-25 at the most .

Ist it heavy set? have you any pics?

sire was 25

 

dog was 21 @ 6 month old he is now 12 month old stands at 24 and half inches and still seems to have a few more inches to grow.

so it dont really matter the size of the parents the dog could throw more to the grey and become tall or more to the collie or bull and become shorter

sire and dam were both 25 tts to mine is now 27/28 at 17 month breeder thinks i slipped him in out of local cow field lol

At 12months old, maybe another 1" but thats about it, if its a deerhound type lurcher, they can

keep growing up to 16 to 18 months old, small type lurcher about 10 months old.

If your meaning Alfie mate I think he's 10 month, i've got his brother here who is 22" and might grow another inch but not sure. He's big enough for what I want.

oops i had it in my head he is the same age of my terrier lol no wonder he still as plenty of growing to do hahahhah

Mines doing ok, had a rabbit on the lamp and retrieved it straight to hand and he's retrieved various feathered things to me. I'm giving him an odd lamping trip now and again before the season just to get him following the beam but only a couple of runs. He would tackle pretty much anything though if I let him I think.

What do you mean? a good height for it s age. I take it you would like the pup to grow somewhere in beetween the parents?

my bullgrey was 20tts at a 6month, now just turned 10months standin near 24. think he will make 24.5 / 25 tts ..

if he stayed the size he is now, it wouldnt bother me.. aslong as he does what i ask of him
