Malt 379
Change your locks then.. I used to be in a private rent, the landlady was a right cow, always springing a surprise visit, and if she thought that you weren't there, she'd let herself in. She done it one day when the then future wife & I were in bed together, and couldn't be arsed to answer her. That was the final straw! I was straight down to the local hardware shop & bought a new set of locks. IMO, if you're renting a place, no other fecker should have the right to access it without your permission, it's still your home, even if you're only renting it. SportingShooter 0
Back to the original question. Whoever told you that is not strictly correct. You can have a SGC in a private let even if the Landlord has keys as the Guns will be stored in a Cabinet which only YOU have the keys to and so only you have the Access to the Guns. Access is the Key word here and with anything relating to Guns. But as Mal has said, Change the locks anyway, no one has the right to be around your Possessions without your knowledge. dustyfox 0
The landlady and letting agents always phone me before when they want in or come to visit the flat. I dont want to change the locks just incase they think Im up to something. Plus they wont come in if the dog is in the house alone. Thanks SS
