What scope for .17hmr?

Loking for advice on what scope I should buy for .17hmr, approx budget £300-£500 and any good ideas where one should look?

i wouldnt spend that much on a scope for a hmr mate its not really needed. but if you have the money then some sort of secondhand swarovski or s&b would be good.

 

if it was me i would get a zeiss conquest 6.5x20x50 for about £450 or better still get bushnell elite tactial 4200 6x24x50 with side px. it isnt quite as good as the zeiss but it can be had for £300 and the optics are super clear and great under the lamp to. plus it had mil-dot so you can aim off at differnt distances.

 

you proberly wont use all the mag but its nice to have when your doing abit of long range shooting.

 

im getting a zeiss soon and for the money there is no better scope for that price im my eyes

F*** Me!!! ............ Well in my book you can NEVER spend too much on a scope but £500 on a HMR

 

There is no kick or thump on a HMR so as long as you can get something you can see through you are on a winner!...Half that money and you have plenty of choice
