Once it goes over certain dimensions planning permission is needed

speedlamper 0
you need to check with your local borough council, different area's can have differant planning laws.

martin 332
I must admit,I thought that as long as it wasn't on a concrete base then it was ok,but,he should have some sort of tenant agreement, and that should tell him what he can and can't do.If he needs some help, just go to the 'Citizens Advice Bureau' they will tell him what to do................Martin. dfee 1
me and a friend built some block runs with a concrete base in his mums garden which is an ex council house, someone reported us,they came round but they said they was ok because you are allowed to build upto a certain size, with your permitted development rights,i dnt know if the rules are any different if the house isnt bought tho.good luck. Rhodey 96
We got stopped by a member of the borough council and said we needed planning permission to paint our new fence at the front of the house. Of course we ignored it and carried on anyway but he said we can be fined the world has gone mad.
Guest hpool_hunter
set if we was seeking * refuge* we of course wouldnt need permission
