Eggy 0 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Share Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) With slightly larger/medium dogs (ie ~24") I would say about a year (depending on maturity)....Deerh crosses a lot longer.......But ferreting is always a good way of introducing a youngish dog (6 months) to the scene.
