french digging holliday ?

hi all just wondering if anyone ever taken terriers across to france to work em and what problems if any they came accross when re entering this country obviously a pet passport is needed but ive looked into that and its not that much. any thoughts on areas to try or experiences of doing it anyone ?

Do you not think u'd be arrested & dogs taken into quarantine if they're marked up/injured? Ur talking of working wild animals outside the UK - rabies???

 

I doubt you could you be arrested for partaking in a legal activity on the continent? There is no quarantine now pet passports have been introduced.

 

However i'm not sure whether any bites would affect the smallprint on the passport amd the vets consultation before you board the ferry back??

I'm sure if the RSPCA were informed & investigated they'd find a way 2 confiscate ur dogs. They wouldn't be content 2 watch people nip across the channel 2 dig a few billys then home with smashed up dogs in time for tea :thumbs:

just back from france mate and its still very hot in a lot of places.still need to get a vet certificate to bring dogs home from a french vet.personally i would not risk it.every man too himself. :wallbash::wallbash:
