Pointed Or Domed?

RWS superdomes suit my S400 and even mossies , would`nt waste time with pointed as they fly all over the place unless each point is accuratly shaped and in the center of the pellet , but still , domes had a better punch and are always best for hunting :gunsmilie:

i used to yuse pointed but they just fly straight through whatever your shooting as i found out the hard way the pellet went through the rabbits head hit a bit of tin roofing sheet ricoched off and hit me in the shoulder it only left a bruise but it hurt at the time :(

now i use domed pellets but i carnt se a change in accuracy like other people say (from changing pellets) i didnt need to re zero my sights to be honest :hunter:

Once again a nooby question

but yeeh what would be the best for hunting birds/rabbits?

what would be the best for practise?

As everyone is saying", Domed, we're all domed". As for practice? Obviously you should practice and set your sights up with the same pellet you are going to use for work.

Flippen 'ek..don't often see that sort of agreement...but I go along with it too Domed for Hunting and practice...you MUST use the same, they will fly differently if not and any difference in cost is a false economy!
