at the end of the day, its the ferret that chooses their sleeping quarters, on a large hutch I built, I made two sleeping areas at the bottom of the 3 tier hutch, very cosy and cool, so I though, they ended up using one for hiding food in, and the other as a shitter :icon_redface:

That's so.... Ferrets!! :whistling:

Mine sleep in their ferret box that they go ferreting in etc. I keep my ferrets in a 6x4 shed with an attached run and just put the box a corner with the lid open, workes well and gets them comfortable with going in it.

Have to say I like the handging basket, one will be going up in their court soon, great thinking. Thanks.

Is this the start of you keeping your Ferrets the way the PET owners do, lovely hanging baskets in your Ferret court. mmm :hmm::clapper:

ferrets of any sort.. pet or working enjoy tubes and tunnels and sleeping in hanging things.. often choosing them over a nest box in the heat of the day or a warm summer evening.. i know our hob much prefers the top hammock on the cat gym thats kept in their shed than the nest box in the summer. ... Has nothing to do with bein a Pet thing.. its just a ferret thing isn't it??
