I have every understanding with people who don't want to buy a dog from Hancock on the ground of 'welfare'. If you don't like is practice then fair enough, but to say they're second rate, well that's just madness. Sure he'll breed some crap 'uns' who hasn't. Can any of you who have bred for any number of years honestly say you have never bred a bad dog or sold to a complete twat for that matter, who has made a pigs ear of an otherwise good dog. Who's prepared to admit it. It happens, fact of life.

Some how I can guarentee you none of my dogs will be run into the ground

And I can guarentee you im no twat like ive already said to Undiputed we are both adults who graft our dogs and will sort this out between us.

Never had a hancock dog but if he's using greyhounds that have coped with the track untill retirement then any 3/4 bred will have thousands of years of excellent breeding behind them. Any collie mixed in needs only to slow the racer enough for the resultant lurcher to become a catcher and so make a decent lamp dog in the right hands. After thousands of years of breeding greyhounds, salukis ect for breeders today to claim the abilities of their lurchers, especialy as most lurchers today are at least 3/4 sighthound, are down to their few years of breeding is madness. To claim more than a minimal input, without at least a large breeding programme over a number of decades, is just standing on the shoulders of those that went before madly waving their own flags.
