A good day you had Pointer and the dogs are looking well. I'm sorry to correwct you pointer but you are miles out with Dougy's and Minnie's breeding. Their Sire is Dave Sleights Boy Blue who is a Whippet X greyhound, their dam Spot was of very mixed breeding, she was bred by Simon fairs Pionter crossess and Lurchers that go all way back to Adrian Simpsons stuff but never the less these dogs really are the business and I have never seen better day time rabbit dogs. In fact I have had my Bitch Nell mated with Dougy. Regards Warren Quote Link to post

All the best,..CHALKWARREN.... Thanks CHALKY, thanks SAMBA. I think if all goes well these pups should (IN THE RIGHT HANDS) excell as all-round rabbiting dogs, but as a very knowledgeable, respected lurcher man once said to me; there is only one certainty in the lurcher game, and that is, there aint no certainties. At the end of the day I have done my best, I have put the best dog avalable to my bitch, both Dougy and Nell are genuine good honest workers and they are both very much tried and tested.
