roan 4
hi shanehound well i hope you have me first on the list this is as far as i am concerned the best working cross available for a very long time both dog and bitch proven AGAIN AND AGAIN i remember the first time i saw the sire hunt i had never been so amazed by his antics immediately informing us of the presence of long ears in the rough field we hunted even though the first cross had no such signals you said theres a hare here hold the lurcher as you did a hare ran past my feet nearly dragged to the ground and i saw the master at work single handed working his hare with such intelligence through a three strand fence into ground treacherous to dogs i watched over a stone wall he twisted and turned 3 fields finally bring it back to the field we started a nicer fielsd for a running dog pulling longers almost where it got up that night it was as you say time for a look of a fox he took two without any bite in twenty mins only one place after that kennel and hit the pub the bitch is everything he is, a sister to my dog this cross really worked great and shes out and out my fella keen almost too keen terriers beware no fear feel no pain and check every piece of land just incase she really did well on the big game learning from her brother i know hares are her thing where you are livin but we,ll give her plenty of the other next season again as they saw no problem to her im gona try get some pics of your dogs at work ill root through the pictures soon all the best roan Quote Link to post
