BSA Ultra , advise

Hiya guys , been lookin for an ultra for my lad and a good mate from another site has put me onto a guy with a single shot , and multi shot , both in .22 , at very good money :thumbs: Just wanted to know if there is anything to look out for , eg the sticking mag on the multi , ( which im aware of ) can i turn em up a touch like my s400 ? or are they anti tamper ?? any common little niggles any of you have had with em id`e appreciate it , might be going to see em in the next couple of days , Cheers

Hi fella, You may well be able to turn up the Ftlbs, but the integral bottle only hold 40 shots anyway. The number of shots would diminish by quite a bit.

Lovely little rifle though and as you say good value for money.

the mags are genrally ok the first ones with one band are a bit poo but you can up grade to the newer ones with the twin band inside as for it sticking all that happens is bits of grit or crap fall in there so take it apart beware of the spring clean them up and a little greese job done

 

on the gun at the end where the button check theres no play as they come loose and mark the barrel other than that they sweet little guns you only get roughlty 40 (FULL POWER) shots per fill then it starts dropping off but id say you can squeze 55 usable shots out :whistling:

 

as for turning them up i wouldnt bother its fairly good power with the right pellet any way :gunsmilie:

Ok guys, got me lad an ultra a .22 single shot :thumbs: with bag, scope and silencer £ 190 , cant be bad :thumbs: gonna pick it up tommorow with the lad and wer`e going onto the permission wednesday , so im in for another thrashing with bunny count !! Might put his scope off zero :whistling::whistling: well i gotta win one day !! :clapper::clapper::clapper:
