Guest AngelicAcid
NuStock If you can get your hands on it heals and grows the hair over on most wounds. I think Camrosa is about the same and easy to get. Also good for mange, skin problems and ear mites. Quote Link to post

Flush dirt out of bites with a seringe full of saline, salt and water dilution, then hydrogen peroxide,(from any chemist).jab of peniccillin, and keep clean and let heal Quote Link to post

Now theres a spin off thred!! what penecillin? my dogs are too ground 2/3times plus a week in the season, iuse a wide spectrum, unless its a humdinger, then i use a fast acting..Getting the crap out asap is the most important, and if not too bad i don"t bother as they can become imune to toomuch use....what bout you guys? Guest AngelicAcid
Been told they can become immune even from some application sprays liquids. If used too much. Quote Link to post
Guest SPIFF
I clean the dogs whole head with soapy water then rinse then dry with kitchen towels. Then hydrogen peroxide then dry with kitchen roll as any water in the wound will hold bacteria. If they re not to bad i don t use anti b but if they are i use dexamethasone and betamox.I also wash the dogs feet as when they scratch they spread the dirt to the face again.Aeromycin is a good powder anti biotic which can be used in the eyes if needed also on the wounds.I don t like the creams much as they clog the wound i think.once they re dried i have a soft brush which i use for taken a lot of the dirt out of the coat.JMO Quote Link to post
longdog2000 1
Ive used tattoo goo, on wounds , it works ok, other wise look up a product called swat keeps it clean and kills flies on contact.. tattoo goo is available from all tattoo shops, Swat is only from the states so youl have to import it. Heres a link http://www.staynerfeedservice.com/catalog/...386/2886267.htm Edited August 17, 2008 by longdog2000 Quote Link to post

Guest Eamon.Mc
Hibiscrub mixed with hydrogen peroxide and water. After giving the dog a good cleaning down all over I syringe and wounds out with the said mixture, a bit of P.E.P or teramicin spray after that. I've heard of a silver coloured spray that is supposed to be quite good maybe some of the other members on here have used it? Quote Link to post
Guest SPIFF
I USED THE SILVER SPRAY AND MY BROTHER USES IT ON LURCHERS GREAT STUFF BUT I STOPPED ON TERRIERS AS I FOUND THE DISCOLOURING MADE IT HARD TO SEE HOW THE WOUNDS WHERE DOING,OTHERWISE GOOD STUFF AND EASY TO GET. Quote Link to post
